Stephen John Paluck

Steve Paluck, formally of Beaverton Oregon, passed away on June 11, 2025 under the care of Heart 2 Heart Hospice at McMinnville Memory Care. 

Steve was born Jan.3, 1940 in Toledo OH to Eva and Stephen Paluck.  He graduated in 1962 from the University of Toledo (OH).  Shortly after that he moved to the west coast.  He married Janice Johnson and inherited a lovely family.

Steve retired from Consolidated Freight as a computer technician.  After retirement, he was instrumental in starting the Food Oasis Program- providing food to those in need.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janice and his step- son Robert Pierce.  He is survived by his sister, Judith Paluck (Ida MI), step-daughters Denise (Ron) Zielinski of Sherwood and Glinda Folkers of Vancouver, Step-grandchildren. Ashley (Taylor) Hamilton and Cody (Grace) Chapman.  Step-great grandchildren Cooper Tester, Emmett Tester, Weston Chapman and Ruby Chapman.

Memorials may be given to Your Food Oasis, Heart 2 Heart Hospice or McMinnville Cooperative Ministries.  

Private services will be help at a later date in Sylvania OH.
