Nancy Enzenauer Obituary

Nancy Enzenauer's life was a tapestry woven with love, family, and cherished friendships. She met her soulmate, Donald Enzenauer, on a blind date arranged by his dear friends, Sandy and Ed Dauer, with whom she would become lifelong friends. On June 3, 1955, Nancy and Don married, embarking on a remarkable 62-year journey together.

In 1958, Don built their first home in El Sobrante, California, where they raised their daughter, Cindy, and son, John, for three decades. Their home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the joys of family life. In 1988, seeking a quieter life, Nancy and Don retired to a charming log cabin in the small town of Prospect, Oregon. There, they spent 27 years nurturing a sprawling garden, tending to cows and chickens, and embracing rural life. Nancy found joy in cooking, canning, participating in the Home Extension program, and forging deep friendships that enriched her days.

In 2015, Nancy and Don relocated to Newberg, Oregon, where Nancy spent her final decade immersed in her love for reading and the lively camaraderie of twice-weekly Bingo games. Her vibrant spirit touched all who knew her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don; her parents, Ed and Maybelle Newth; her sister, Shirley; and her sons, Gary, Robert, and John. She leaves behind a cherished legacy, survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Steve Seibel; daughter-in-law, Cyndi Enzenauer; grandsons, Jason (Larisa), Jeremy (Nikki), Joel Seibel, and John (Heather) Enzenauer; granddaughter, Amanda Enzenauer; great-grandchildren, Lauryn, Jarrod, Kayla (Jacob Neely), and Carson Seibel; and great-great-grandchildren, Clara & Otto Neely, and Easton Seibel.

Nancy's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the enduring power of family and friendship. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
