Edward Bethel Adams

Edward Bethel Adams, 51, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at his home in Portland, OR.

Born in Sacramento, Ed grew up in Loomis, CA, graduating from Del Oro High School. He attended Reed College in Portland, later living in Davis before settling in Portland.

Ed loved the outdoors, big words, big dogs, a good book, and a hearty laugh. Words classmates used in remembering Ed included: intelligent, kind, sweet, witty, and gentle giant. He and his sparkling smile will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be arranged later.

He was preceded in death by his father, George E Adams.

Survivors include his mother, Beryl Adams, of Bellingham, WA, and his sister, Susie Adams, of Oxford, MS.
